4G in Stockholm, Sweden

Ericsson and TeliaSonera have opened the world’s first commercial Long-Term Evolution (LTE) site in Stockholm, Sweden.

Stockholmers can now enjoy a true mobile broadband experience – super high data speeds for goodies such as internet TV, mobile video blogging, online video games and – if absolutely necessary – work related stuff.

That is, of course, if anyone in Sweden has 4G mobile phone yet.

The new 4G site is part of a commercial 4G network scheduled for 2010.
