Sprint – Second 4G Phone Will Be Samsung Epic 4G
After the runaway success of the HTC EVO 4G, Sprint is getting ready to launch its second 4G phone.
The Samsung Epic 4G will be the first 4G phone with a full landscape sliding QWERTY keyboard. It’ll be a touchscreen phone running Android 2.1. You’ll also be able to use use the Samsung Epic 4G phone as a WiFi hotspot for up to 5 additional devices. Other goodies include a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash.
Pricing and release date info is still to be announced by Sprint & Samsung.
Samsung Mondi 4G Phone Now Available in Dallas / Fort Worth
Clearwire is now selling the Samsung Mondi 4G phone in the Dallas / Fort Worth area, coinciding with its launch of 4G WiMAX in that market.
The Samsung Mondi is a WiMAX mobile internet device with a 4.3 inch touchscreen that comes with a slide out qwerty keyboard as well as access to emails and web content, video and multimedia content and business apps.
The future looks bright for the Samsung Mondi – Clearwire has hinted it’ll be launched in other markets like Boston and Washington DC and it’ll be available to Time Warner Cable mobile customers in the next few months.
