New 4G Mobile Hotspot from Time Warner Cable

Time Warner Cable has teamed up with Sierra Wireless to launch IntelliGo, a 4G WiFi mobile hotspot for use with its Road Runner Mobile service.

IntelliGo allows any device with WiFi connectivity to connect to Time Warner Cable’s 4G phone network. The mobile hotspot can be used by up to five devices simultaneously at download speeds of up 6 Mbps.

Road Runner Mobile is currently available in 17 markets with a 4G service due to launch this year in New York, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Boston, Washington, D.C., San Francisco and Los Angeles.

4G Sierra Wireless Data Card

Reports are surfacing that a new 4G wireless data card from Sierra Wireless will be coming to Sprint 4G.

The new device reportedly supports up to five users via Wi-Fi with a range of 100 feet and a built in SD card slot which will be available to any of those five users – a nifty bit of 4G phone kit that should be available from Sprint in February.
